Natural Gas Energy Consumption of Gas-Heated Coating Machines

Our technical team released measured energy data for natural gas-fueled coating equipment this week. Standard hot-air coating ovens consume 60–130 m³ natural gas hourly based on line length and curing temperature (60–180℃). Advanced catalytic infrared gas heating cuts gas usage to 35–42 m³/h, lifting thermal efficiency by over 40% and shortening curing time by half.
Equipped with intelligent zoning temperature control and waste heat recovery, our gas coating machines slash overall fuel costs by 30%–52% versus electric heating models. Stable ±1℃ temperature precision also improves coating uniformity while lowering carbon emissions, supporting clients’ low-carbon production upgrades. All energy parameters are customizable for film, metal and battery coating lines.
